Côtes-du-Rhône
CHÂTEAU GIGOGNAN WHITE
Indulgent, fresh and delectable, this cuvée is made with grapes from different terroirs, the most prestigious of which give the wine a very typical identity and character due to the soil of rounded pebbles.
VARIETALS
Roussanne - Grenache Blanc Clairette - Bourboulenc
SOIL/CLIMATE
Situated close to the château on a slightly sandy, clay-loam terroir.
The climate is Mediterranean with two dry seasons (one in winter and a longer one in summer) and two rainy seasons (heavy some years in autumn and lighter in spring). Finally, the presence of the Mistral wind throughout the year is a real advantage for the healthy growth of the vines.
WINEMAKING
Nocturnal harvesting. Cold pressing and settling. Fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vats and ageing on fine lees for 6 months.

TASTING NOTES
Our Château Gigognan White is a blended wine characterised by its elegance and superb tension. It has a nose of subtle notes of white flowers, apricot and citrus. On the palate its density is balanced by the wine’s natural freshness.
TASTING TIPS
This wine makes a delicate companion to grilled fish dishes and salads.
We recommend serving it young, and at a cool temperature of around 12°C.
